A popular dessert shop in Queenstown, New Zealand It started with the appearance and was surprised by the taste. This shop has both chocolate and ice cream. I learned from the past and was afraid that it would be too sweet, so I ordered cookies & raspberry ice cream. The first bite was so delicious that I can't describe it in words, but after a few bites, it was still a bit sweet... I was very satisfied after eating half of it.

As we were walking along the pier I saw the upstairs window seats and thought we'd go have a cup of tea so we went there the next day. The chocolates, desserts and popsicles are enough to make you dizzy. We ordered churros, crepes, toast, tea, coffee and chocolate drinks. The portions were huge and the food was delicious. Wandering around here with nothing to do, a few of us casually entered this rather trendy looking dessert shop called Patagonia Chocolates. The ice cream was covered with chocolate and then with nuts, and tasted good. The macarons were not too sweet and were ok. The other desserts were nicely shaped. We had afternoon tea here, and if we were by the window on the second floor, we could see the lake in Queenstown, which was quite relaxing.

Chocolates Patagonia, we went to the one in Arrowtown because they were about to close when we went there one night in Queenstown. We chose Mascarpone cheese & fruit + banana split, both of which are award-winning flavors in 2011. The cheese fruit one is definitely my favorite!
