Songfa is worth queuing for, and since it is a fast food, the queue is not long. It suits our taste very well, without the smell of Chinese medicine, and the soup can be refilled for free. The two children each had two bowls of rice and ate several pieces of ribs, saying that it was delicious.

Song Fa Bak Kut Teh is indeed a time-honored brand. There was still a queue at the door at 2 pm. There were quite a few of us and we waited for a big table for more than half an hour. We were so tired. But when we ate, everyone agreed that it was worth it! Credit cards and Alipay are accepted in the store. The ribs are stewed in broth, the soup is fresh and the meat is tender, fresh and delicious, and the aftertaste is endless. Especially the broth pork ribs, which cost 13.9 SGD per serving and are limited every day. When we arrived, there was only one left. But the regular version is also amazing, 9.9 SGD per serving. Unlike the Bak Kut Teh set meal at the food stalls, Song Fa’s braised food, fried dough sticks, side dishes, and rice are all ordered separately, and a 10[%] service charge and 7[%] tax are charged at the end [covering face]. Vegetables and meat are about the same price in Singapore. It is said that all vegetables are imported organically. A medium-sized vegetable costs 6.9 SGD. The five-spice meat roll is deep-fried bean curd wrapped with pork and shrimp, which is rich and fragrant but not greasy. The barbecued pork tastes just right, fat but not greasy, lean but not dry. The braised food platter is the standard of Bak Kut Teh. The tofu is delicious, but a foodie in my group likes the Bak Kut Teh broth the most, which tastes like pork tripe pepper soup. The soup is free and unlimited, and the foodie drank five bowls of soup in one go after finishing it.

I ordered a signature Bak Kut Teh and a portion similar to tenderloin, and I had to order fried dough sticks. Although it was a little expensive, it was very delicious when soaked in the soup. My dad said that the ribs were so delicious, the meat was tender and not dry, and it was very delicious [snickering]. After eating other brands of Bak Kut Teh, I realized that Song Fa’s was the best.
