The Blue Ginger (Tanjong Pagar)

My friend brought me here to eat the legendary Michelin one-star Nyonya cuisine. It is a three-story building with a very Nanyang style decoration. People who have just arrived in Singapore may not be used to it, but they think it has a certain characteristic. Local friends often eat various flavors of curry and think it tastes good. The curry flavor is very special. I personally think the small golden cup and five-spice rolls are delicious. Durian cendol is worth trying.

I always think it's delicious, and I would like to recommend the simple and delicious dishes, such as flat meat soup, earthworm jelly, clams, seasonal vegetables in golden soup, lotus leaf dumplings, and this season's eel soup ~ it only costs two to three hundred for two people, and you can go shopping after eating!

Noodle pancakes. Simply put, you can prepare noodles according to your personal taste, and then squeeze the noodles into a pan and fry them into a round pancake shape. The reference is the recipe of Ming Tsai, the chef of Blue Ginger restaurant. He recommends eating it with yogurt, but in comparison, I still prefer chili sauce [wink] ​

This restaurant specializes in Nyonya cuisine. The dessert, durian cendol, is covered with a layer of durian, and underneath is shaved ice, red beans, brown sugar, and Nyonya-style cendol. The durian flesh is extremely delicate, and with the red beans and the cool taste, it is delicious. The curry beef and fish cake are also good.

A very unique restaurant, the waiters are all Indian, the menu is all in English, the braised pork is delicious, the desserts are Indian specialties, and the Mala cake is also very delicious and not expensive.
