above 11 ร้านตั้งอยู่ชั้นบนสุดของโรงแรมFraser suites ภายในร้านจะมีเจ้าพนักงานทั้งไทยและต่างชาติเข้ามาให้บริการ เราไปช่วง6โมงเย็น คนก็เริ่มจะแน่นร้านแล้ว วันนี้แวะมานั่งชิวกับพี่ร่วมงาน เลยจัดกันไปคนละแก้ว ที่นี้พนักงานน่ารักเป็นกันเองมาก พนักงานแต่ละคนจะคอยมาแนะนำเมนูอาหาร และเครื่องดืม เราเลยสั้ง ชุดเมนูซูชิ 14ชิ้น ในราคา 800 บาท รสชาติอาหารยังไม่โอเคเท่าไหร่แต่เครื่องดืม อร่อยยิ่งเป็นเมนูที่ทางร้านแนะนำ B above ที่ไม่มีในเมนู ราคาประมาณ300+ รสละมุน อร่อยทานง่าย และอีกเมนูพี่ร่วมงานสั่งมาทาน ราคาจะแพงกว่านิด อันนี้ก็รสชาติดี โดยร่วม ทั้งอาหาร บรรยากาศ บวกการบริการ ดีเยี่ยมเลย

Because the moment you step out, the city turns the volume up.

The roads here don’t just move, they surge. Tuk-tuks weaving through traffic, motorbikes slipping through impossibly small gaps, neon signs competing with temple roofs, and the air carrying a mix of street food, incense, and humidity. It’s intense, but never overwhelming in a bad way. More like… alive in every sense.

And then there’s ICONSIAM, which feels less like a mall and more like a curated version of Thailand itself. From floating market-style food zones to luxury storefronts and riverfront views, it’s where tradition and modern spectacle meet without clashing. You could spend hours here and still feel like you’ve only scratched the surface.

But what truly transformed my first impression was experiencing Bangkok during Songkran Festival.

Imagine an entire city turning into a celebration. Streets become water battlegrounds, strangers become teammates, and the heat becomes part of the fun instead of something to escape. Around the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, the energy was electric. Music, laughter, splashes of water from every direction. It wasn’t just a festival, it felt like the city letting its guard down and inviting everyone in.

What stood out the most wasn’t just the places, but the contrasts. Calm cafés and chaotic streets. Spiritual spaces and ultra-modern architecture. Locals going about their day right next to travellers trying to take it all in.
