Worth a visit!
We arrived before dinner time and without reservation, but luckily one table cancelled their reservation. The food was cooked and presented very well. It tasted really good! The taste, texture and presentation were all carefully prepared and well worth a visit. Don&#39;t miss it!

Shang Palace is a Chinese restaurant located in the city center of Dubai. This restaurant is located in the five-star hotel Shangri-La. Needless to say, the environment is natural. It is also my personal favorite Cantonese cuisine and I highly recommend it.

varied menu, good food but pricey
This restaurant styles itself as &#39;&#39;fusion&#39;&#39; and the menu is quite varied. Atmosphere ok and service attentive. What we ordered was tasty but I thought 35 dhs for three very small dumplings was quite a lot. Also we ordered the seafood platter which was 300 dhs and it was not huge - but well-presented and cooked perfectly, but we were surprised it did not come with rice. So then we had to order rice and wait for that to come. Again it was a tiny portion - about one teacup - come on - how much does plain boiled rice cost? (I thought the waitress could have pointed out the seafood platter did not come with any rice or bread!). So all in all, tasty food, expensive and small portions. It was just enough food for us, but portion sizes would not satisfy someone with a big appetite. I am giving it a &#39;&#39;good&#39;&#39; but that is because the food was tasty.
