Good, with room to improve
We ordered a regular cheeseburger with fries and a "rachel ruben" with onion rings and lilikoi cole slaw. My wife's burger and fries came out first. The burger was barely warm and the fries were only warm and limp. My rachel sandwich came next with the lilikoi slaw. The sandwich was hot and very tasty. The slaw was less generous than the $2.95 additional charge should have been, and the sauce on it was a bit light and did not have much lilikoi flavor. A few minutes later came my onion rings. They were large, very hot, and quite tasty. We paid $2.50 for the upcharge from fries to onion rings, and the $2.95 for the small plate of lilikoi slaw. All in, the meal came to $38 plus tip. This was actually pretty reasonable for Hawaii fare, but as a local resident we found it more expensive than other places in the area.
