What travelers say about Assemini
NachtischAugust 28, 2026

The Bastione di Saint Remy in Cagliari is an iconic viewpoint and historical building in Sardinia's capital:
* Highlights: The magnificent 19th-century neoclassical marble double staircases and arches; the rooftop terrace offers stunning panoramic views of the city, including the old town, port, and the Bay of Angels at sunset.
* Drawbacks: Climbing the stairs is physically demanding (the elevator is occasionally out of service); lack of shade at midday in summer can be quite sunny.
Conclusion: A must-see landmark with free admission; highly recommended for an evening stroll to watch the sunset.
