Ramna Park is one of the most beautiful and peaceful green spaces in Dhaka, offering a refreshing escape from the city's busy streets. The park is well maintained, with shaded walking paths, a scenic lake, and plenty of trees that create a calm atmosphere. It is an excellent place for morning walks, jogging, exercise, or simply relaxing with family and friends. Visitors can also enjoy birdwatching and the natural beauty throughout the year. Security and cleanliness are generally satisfactory, making it suitable for people of all ages. Overall, Ramna Park is a wonderful destination for recreation, relaxation, and enjoying nature in the heart of the city.

For some reason, local Bangladeshis were not allowed in, but since I was a foreigner, they said I could enter. The surrounding area was Old Dhaka, and there were a lot of people, but the traffic was the worst I've ever seen, and I was exhausted! There were no people inside, so I was able to take a break. You have to take off your shoes before entering, so black socks might be a good idea.

Bangladesh is one of the few clean places in the country

As a Bangladeshi, I suggest the Bangladesh National Zoo in Mirpur is a popular destination for wildlife enthusiasts. Home to a diverse range of animals, including the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger, it offers an educational and entertaining experience. However, the zoo's maintenance and animal welfare conditions could be improved. With better facilities and care, it has the potential to become a world-class attraction. A visit can be enjoyable.

It's free, so the price/performance ratio is good, but there are a lot of beggars and garbage everywhere. The water lilies in the river are nice, they are their national flower.
