Chatsworth House is the mansion of the hereditary Duke of Devonshire, located in the northern Peak District of England (Peak District) Within the national park. In the mid-16th century, Bess of Hardwick built a mansion here, which later underwent Baroque reconstruction from the late 17th century and large-scale expansion in the 19th century. The gardens were successively designed by renowned figures such as Brown in the 18th century and Paxton in the 19th century. The former transformed formal gardens into expansive natural landscapes, while the latter left behind giant rock gardens and iconic fountains, creating a blend of garden styles spanning several centuries. Over more than 400 years from the 15th to the 19th century, through the meticulous design and construction by many famous horticulturists, it became one of the most beautiful estates in England and an important part of British cultural heritage.Chatsworth · 20.5 km from Buxton

Peak District National Park

Peak District National Park is the largest national park in the UK. It has open moorland, beautiful river valleys and picturesque villages. It is a piece of pure land away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is also an ideal place for walking, hiking, caving, rock climbing and cycling. The Monsal Trail in the park extends along the abandoned railway line. The flat path is suitable for family cycling; Thor's Cave limestone cave hangs on the cliff, providing a unique experience for caving enthusiasts. The meadows and sculpture gardens around Chatsworth House complement each other, and the stepping stone streams and heart-shaped caves in the Dovedale Valley are a good place for photography. In spring, the heather sea is all over the mountains, and in autumn, the mist-shrouded wilderness is full of mysterious atmosphere. There are many viewing platforms in the park overlooking the cascading terraces of the Edale Valley, and the Stanage Edge cliff is the filming location of "Pride and Prejudice".Castleton · 13.1 km from Buxton

Old Trafford is located in Manchester, England, and serves as the home ground for Manchester United, a traditional powerhouse in English football. It earned the nickname "Theatre of Dreams" from legendary footballer Bobby Charlton. The stadium opened in 1910, suffered damage from air raids during World War II, and was restored over several years before welcoming its home team back in 1949. As one of the UK's football stadiums, it can accommodate approximately 75,000 spectators and, like Wembley Stadium, is one of the six British stadiums certified by UEFA. It has also been dubbed the "Theatre of Dreams." Among the popular sports in Manchester, football is a significant part of the city's culture. Statistics show that the Greater Manchester area has one of the highest numbers of football clubs in the world, particularly with the long-standing dominance of Manchester United and the rise of the nouveau riche Manchester City. Every year, these two teams face off in highly anticipated matches on their respective home grounds. Over the decades, Manchester United, nicknamed the "Red Devils," has achieved countless honors and football legends, making it a classic representative of European football clubs. Old Trafford, as the home of Manchester United, has become a sacred place for many fans. Whenever Manchester United plays at home, Old Trafford is packed to the brim with supporters.Stretford · 33.7 km from Buxton

Absolutely fantastic. Would recommend the buggy ride around the garden. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The house and all the staff made you feel very welcome and relaxed. The markets are really good and have a very nice vibe and the house itself is decorated very well with a different theme every year. This year it's Henry and the Lion! The gardens are also lit up at night so definitely go for a walk after leaving the house if you have time. You will need to book tickets early ..

It's very convenient to take the tram to the Etihad Stadium. I arrived an hour early and they let me in. There were two guides who accompanied me throughout the tour, although they explained things in English. Overall, it was quite good!

I came to the UK for a tour and followed a local tour group to the Peak District National Park. However, it happened to rain that day and it was very windy outside. I could only take a few photos and then return to the car. The Peak District National Park in the UK is the first and largest national park in the UK, located in central England. The Peak District is located in the south of the Pennines, and most of the area is hills with an altitude of about 300 meters. The Peak District is mainly composed of sedimentary rocks formed in the Carboniferous period, including limestone, sandstone and coal rock.

Our trip to England took us to Old Trafford in Manchester, the home ground of Manchester United Football Club. Rich in history and filled with statues of its star players, the stadium has witnessed countless glorious moments for the club and nurtured the deep emotions of its Red Devils fans. It's not just a holy ground for football, but also a dream destination for every football enthusiast.

Lyme Park is a great place for weekend hiking and is also the filming location of Darcy's Manor in the 1995 version of "Pride and Prejudice". Walking up along the direction of other hikers, the warm sunshine falls on the grass, exuding vigorous vitality everywhere, and everyone you meet will say hello.

If you love the retro, mysterious magic school style of Harry Potter, this is a must-visit. It's a classic Victorian Gothic building with exquisite stone carvings, stained glass windows, and soaring vaulted ceilings inside. Admission is free.
