Here, you can hike and explore deep into the tropical rainforest, enjoy the scenery of different seasons, encounter Australia's native animals, and take a high-altitude cable car to overlook iconic landmarks such as the Three Sisters, Katoomba Falls, Mount.Solitude and the Jamison Valley. △ Enjoy the magnificent sunset view △ See the different seasons in the Blue Mountains △ Meet Australia's native animalsSydney · 21.5 km from Castlereagh

Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park is located in Sydney's western suburbs, on the way from the city to the Blue Mountains, making it a stop included in many Blue Mountains 1-day tours. This privately founded zoo houses over 2,000 native Australian animals, including dozens of endangered species, offering an excellent opportunity to encounter local wildlife in Sydney. Here you can see wombats, echidnas, dingoes, little penguins, cassowaries, kookaburras and more, observe massive saltwater crocodiles across water barriers, and even spot endangered Tasmanian devils. A highlight is entering the open kangaroo and wallaby area to hand-feed them, stroking koalas and taking photos in the koala zone, or visiting the lorikeet flight aviary where colorful parrots fly and perch around visitors. The park also hosts multiple daily keeper talks and feeding sessions, where you can hand-feed little penguins under keeper guidance. Quokkas, typically found in Western Australia, have also made their home here, offering a rare sighting in Sydney.Doonside · 21.7 km from Castlereagh

The Blue Mountains Scenic World is located near the Three Sisters Mountains. While here there are three different modes of transportation for visitors to enjoy: the Railway, Cableway, and Skyway. From the Skyway's high-altitude cabin, visitors will get an all-encompassing panoramic view; visitors can also take the railway or cableway down to the bottom of the rainforest and go for a hike through the rainforest or into the caves to experience the bitterness of how miners' life deep beneath the ground used to be.Katoomba · 35.5 km from Castlereagh

Honestly, the Blue Mountains are far inferior to some famous mountains in China. If you don't hike, all you see are the Three Sisters peaks, which aren't even really mountains. The cable car ride is just for fun, you won't get much experience from it.

It was good. Worth a visit. But kangaroos were not hoping around at the time we were there. They were all sleepy around 12/1 pm.

The theater isn't very large, so the view from the second floor was excellent, and the actors' performances were very lifelike, with very interesting dialogue. Plus, the theater has a beautiful terrace with floor-to-ceiling windows; I took some lovely photos there in the afternoon!

Amazing whale-watching experience in Sydney! 🐋I really enjoyed this experience from start to finish. The scenery and the whole environment were absolutely beautiful, and we were lucky enough to see a lot of whales! It was amazing watching them in their natural environment, and the experience was even better than I expected. Definitely a great activity to do while visiting Sydney, and I would happily recommend it to others!

I booked my tickets at the zoo entrance, and they were confirmed instantly. I just scanned the code to enter, and they were exactly the same as the official tickets, but much cheaper. There are all sorts of animals and shows; you could easily spend a whole day experiencing them all. If you're short on time, just see the main attractions or things you like, such as the classic view of the giraffes by the sea alongside the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. The round-trip boat ride offers various views of the Opera House and the CBD skyline.
