Dolphins Beach

Dolphins Beach is a public beach at the southern end of the Cancun Hotel Zone, named for the pods of dolphins that once frequented the area. Although dolphins are rarely seen today, you may still catch a glimpse of them from the observation deck in the early morning. Standing from a high vantage point, the view between the soft white sand and the turquoise Caribbean water is unobstructed, which sets it apart from other beaches in Cancun and makes it particularly popular with local residents and independent travelers. The El Mirador observation deck above the beach is the perfect spot to overlook the entire coastline. Next to it stands the giant Cancún sign, a popular photo spot. From here, you can enjoy the view of the turquoise water churning with large white waves. Strong waves are a key feature here, attracting local surfers to practice year-round.Mexico · Cancun

Cenote Suytunis located on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, situated on the outskirts of Valladolid, and is an underground cavern-style cenote with a skylight in the cave ceiling. Stalactites hang from the cave walls, and the dim light reflects off the tranquil underground spring, creating a spacious, cathedral-like atmosphere. The cenote water is clear and stays cool year-round. You can walk along the path to the center of the stone platform for photos, jump right in for a swim, or simply float on your back to relax. As you walk down the path into the cave, you will see a circular stone platform standing in the clear water in the center, with a narrow walkway extending from the cave wall to the center of the platform. Around midday, sunlight streams directly down through the opening in the cave ceiling, landing on the platform like a spotlight. This scene makes it one of the most recognizable cenotes on the Yucatan Peninsula and a popular spot for photos on social media.Valladolid · 46.2 km from Chichen Itza

Tulum

Tulum sits on a Caribbean cliff along the eastern coast of Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula. This coastal city-state was built in the late Maya civilization and remained inhabited, reaching its peak between the 13th and 15th centuries. "Tulum" means "wall" in Yucatec Maya, as the ancient city is enclosed by stone walls several m high on three sides, with the fourth facing the sea, serving as both a fortress and a port. It was a gateway for the inland Maya city of Cobá to maritime routes and a key hub for goods like obsidian. Facing the sunrise over the sea, it was possibly once called Zama, meaning "city of dawn." The main attractions are concentrated along the cliff edge: El Castillo stands at the cliff's end as the site's landmark, with carvings of deities like the feathered serpent visible on its facade. The Temple of the Frescoes retains remnants of Maya murals and red handprint decorations, while the Temple of the Descending God features a diving deity figure, an iconic symbol of Tulum. The Temple of the Wind occupies a small rocky platform jutting into the sea, offering expansive views perfect for capturing the turquoise waters and white sand. Below the cliff lies a beach where many travelers stop to wade or rest, and iguanas basking among the rocks are common "locals." Follow the cliffside path to explore the temples, then look back at the castle from the seaside—the frame of ancient stone walls against the Caribbean is what sets it apart from inland Maya ruins. At dawn, the soft light enhances the layers of the walls and sea, and the site is relatively quiet.Mexico · Tulum

Cenote Saamal is easily accessible from downtown Valladolid, and visitors can choose to drive or take a taxi. Playa Las Coloradasis located in the small fishing village of Las Coloradas on the northern tip of the Yucatan Peninsula, adjacent to the Gulf of Mexico. The lake's pink color comes from the red algae, plankton, and brine shrimp that thrive in its high-salinity environment. The higher the salinity, the more intense the color. Under the sunny skies, the entire lake surface resembles pink cotton candy spread out, creating a striking color contrast with the white salt mountains and sand dunes. Flocks of flamingos can also be seen nearby, often foraging in the shallow salt pools and wetlands. This salt field has been producing salt since the Mayan era and continues to do so today. Visitors can usually view and take photos along designated areas to avoid interfering with operations and ensure safety.Mexico · Tizimin

We welcome tourists to Dolphin Beach. The iconic landmark here is the big "CANCUN" logo, which is also a good place for tourists to check in. This is the public beach in the hotel area. After all, many all-inclusive hotels have their own private beaches! Pay attention to sun protection in the azure Caribbean Sea, and parasols are provided. La Isla Shopping Village in Cancun is the largest shopping center and commercial street. It has local brands, various souvenirs, and international brand stores. It is located opposite Westin Lagunamar in the central area of the hotel area. For more fun in Mexico, please consult me!

Internet celebrity attractions. The main thing is that there is a man-made retro terrace in the center of the cave, where people can go up to take pictures. In the morning, the light from the top of the cave looks like a stage. However, the cave itself is not very interesting, the water quality is poor, and it is not suitable for snorkeling. The water is also relatively cold. The cost performance is not high

Tulum is one of the last cities built and inhabited by the Mayan civilization, and it is also one of the best-preserved coastal Mayan ruins. Looking at the Caribbean Sea along the ruins, the scenery is really beautiful, and the water is very blue and clear.

I travelled with a guide from Merida and to fully enjoy the experience you need a guide who can explain the history of the mineral salts and the saltwater shrimp that are responsible for the flamingos’ pink colour.
