We attended The Haunted Forests with a party of nine, eight of whom purchased tickets in advance, expecting a full evening of multiple attractions as advertised. From the moment we arrived at 7:45 p.m., there was an extended delay just to enter the grounds. Once inside, the lines for every attraction were extremely long and disorganized. After waiting nearly five hours, we were only able to experience one attraction, exiting the hayride at 12:30 a.m.The event did not match the advertised experience. Poor communication, overcrowding, and a lack of staff prevented us from enjoying what we paid for. When we contacted management to request refunds, their response was dismissive and accusatory. They falsely suggested that our group had “chosen” not to participate in other attractions. By the time we exited the hayride, cast members were out of costume and sitting at picnic tables eating, clearly showing that the attractions were no longer operating. Management cited a “no refunds” policy and offered free tickets for a future visit. This is not acceptable, members of our group drove over an hour each way only to spend the entire night waiting in line.Overall, we left feeling scammed and taken advantage of. Free tickets do not compensate for the time, money, and frustration we lost, and we will not be returning.
