The Congren Valley Scenic Area in Qu County is much cheaper if you buy tickets online in advance. This scenic area is quite off the beaten path; I guess it's not usually visited. It tells the story of the ancient Congren people living in caves. Climbing mountains and stairs requires physical strength, and many caves are very narrow and cramped, so you have to be extra careful when walking. At the end of the path, there are two lakes to visit, and you can even go boating. The lakes are beautiful, somewhat reminiscent of Jiuzhaigou. The only downside is the abundance of mosquitoes; stopping anywhere easily attracts them.
