Activity Introduction:
Overview of Gu Long Xia in Qingyuan
Gu Long Xia in Qingyuan is located in the Binjiang Gorge of Qingxin District, Qingyuan, Guangdong, at the intersection of the Guangzhou-Qingyuan and Qingyuan-Lianzhou expressways, just 68 kilometers from downtown Guangzhou, within the one-hour transportation circle of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The scenic area has a forest coverage rate of 95% and abundant negative oxygen ions, making it a natural oxygen bar. Since its opening in 2007, it has been awarded titles such as a national 4A-level tourist attraction, a national sports tourism demonstration base, and a designated rafting track by the General Administration of Sport of China. In 2025, it received over 2.0399 million visitors, making it a well-known ecological tourism and sports wellness destination in the Greater Bay Area.
Core highlight: Gu Long Xia Glass Grand Canyon
Gu Long Xia Glass Grand Canyon, also known as the glass grand canyon, is the world's first high-altitude sightseeing complex integrating a suspended glass platform, glass corridor, glass walkway, glass bridge, glass sky mirror, and suspended live broadcast room. With 12 world records, it is hailed as the "new world leader in high-altitude sightseeing".
The project is suspended 530 meters above sea level amidst mountains and waterfalls, spanning approximately 1,300 meters in total length and covering an area of 12,000 square meters. The UFO-shaped glass platform stretches 302 meters with a suspended span of 72 meters, making it the world's longest suspended glass platform. The waterfall-viewing glass bridge measures 329 meters in length and 6.8 meters at its widest point, ranking as the world's widest waterfall-viewing glass bridge. The entire structure features three layers of 6 cm ultra-clear laminated glass with a light transmittance of 99.15%, complemented by 5D sound and light effects. As visitors walk across, they can trigger fun interactive experiences like "glass cracking" and "mountain collapse." The scenic area is equipped with the world's tallest single-level outdoor escalator, reaching the bridgehead in just 2 minutes and 45 seconds, offering an effortless start to a cloud-walking adventure.
