The pickup went perfectly. We were informed of the time and location the day before. It was right at our hotel. The drive was great. The stop at the taverna 5 minutes before the gorge entrance isn't strictly necessary, but it's part of the experience to support the local businesses. 😉 You have plenty of time to hike through the gorge. We wore ankle-high hiking boots, which we thought were fantastic. Most people, however, wore sneakers, slipped frequently, and by the end, some of them weren't walking very smoothly. There are plenty of springs to refill your water bottles. Small snacks are a good idea. At the end, there's a cozy taverna where you can enjoy good food and drinks with a beautiful view of the sea and harbor. Swimming in the sea at the end is also wonderful. Boat tickets are available behind the taverna. The pickup at the harbor and the return trip also went perfectly. We would definitely book it again.

The absolute best tour we have ever experienced! This was, hands down, the most interesting, informative, and enjoyable tour we have ever taken. Walking around with Konstantinos felt exactly like having your favorite cousin show you around his hometown. He and his team treat you like family taking the time to make you feel truly welcome in their home. If you want a deep dive into Rethymno's history combined with wonderful company and incredible food, do not miss this tour. It is unforgettable!

The tour was fantastic and exactly as described. Susanne, our guide, told us a lot about Crete in both English and German. The bus driver was friendly and the journey was pleasant. - Heraklion (4 hours): A beautiful city with many sights. I recommend allowing about 1.5–2 hours for the museum. - Knossos (1.5 hours): This was my main reason for taking this tour. I wasn't disappointed. Anyone looking for a tour without a dedicated guide and wanting to explore Heraklion and Knossos independently can book this tour without hesitation.

The pick-up location was clearly marked, and the first stop was for expensive coffee (€9 for two coffees in cardboard cups and a pastry). The stop in Previli was pleasant. Rethymnon is a very pretty city, definitely worth seeing; however, the time spent there was far too short (1 hour 30 minutes). In short, a nice excursion, but it would be better to spend less time in Previli and Damnoni and more time in Rethymnon.
