What a great way to get around Macau! You can hop off at any off the stops you wish to explore and just get on at the designated time located on the map that you get with your ticket. Or you can just take the whole trip without getting off if you only want to see the popular sights of Macau. If you have a day or 2 in Macau, I would definitely recommend this activity to see all in a short amount of time.★

Our family of five traveled from Hong Kong to Macau and chose a cross-border car rental service between Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau through Ctrip. After placing the order, the company created a group chat to discuss our needs and confirm the itinerary. The next day, driver Ivan Cheong picked us up from our hotel on time. The car was spacious, clean, and tidy, and he patiently introduced us to the scenery along the way. It was a very comfortable ride, and the dual-license plates made border crossing a breeze, so we didn't have to worry about anything. He safely and smoothly took us to our hotel in Macau. There's no need to buy in advance. But it's convenient for us to buy with a Mir card. Ferries leave half-empty even on peak days, so if you arrive early, you might be transferred to an earlier one.★

I used it to go from Hong Kong to Shenzhen. Since my destination was Nanshan District, I took the bus to the Shenzhen Port. It's a little more expensive than the subway, but the advantage is that you can always get a seat.★
