How to use
[Install eSIM]
Before installing, please ensure you are connected to a stable mobile data or Wi-Fi network.
For devices running iOS 17.4 or later, you can quickly install the eSIM directly within the Trip.com app by tapping the "Install" button (Note: Since one QR code can only be installed on one phone, please confirm that the device you intend to use the eSIM on is the current device before proceeding. If it is not the current device, do not tap the button, otherwise the QR code will become unusable afterwards.).
The specific steps are as follows:
Trip.com app ➡ Account ➡ All Orders ➡ Tap the eSIM order you wish to use to enter the order details page, then tap the "Install" button.
 
For other versions and models, the general installation methods are as follows:
Scan QR Code / Enter eSIM Information Manually:
1. Open the QR code attachment from the order in the Trip.com app, and print it in advance or save it to another electronic device. (iOS 17 and above systems can directly save it to the phone)
2. Open Cellular Network (iOS) or SIM Card Management (Android) in Settings.
3. While the phone is connected to the internet, click "Add Cellular Network" (iOS) or "Add SIM Card Management" (Android) and scan the QR code to install.
4. If you can't scan the code, enter the "SM-DP+Address and Activation Code" from the order receipt to install.
5. If steps 3/4 fail, your phone may be locked by the home carrier (unable to use other carrier networks). Contact the carrier to unlock it before using eSIM.
 
[Using eSIM]
1. Turn off the primary SIM card and enable the eSIM network connection.
2. Enable the eSIM number in Cellular settings (iOS) or activate the eSIM in SIM card manager (Android).
3. Turn on Data Roaming:
- iOS : Settings ➡ Cellular ➡ Data Roaming.
- Android : Settings ➡ Connections ➡ Mobile networks ➡ Data Roaming.
4. If you still cannot connect to the internet after the above steps, please set the APN and restart your device. For details, refer to the information below.

1. If you still cannot connect to the internet after completing the steps above, please set the APN manually (it usually switches automatically under normal conditions).
2. Setting path:
- iOS : Settings ➡ Cellular ➡ Cellular Data Network
- Android : Settings ➡ Connections ➡ Mobile networks ➡ Access Point Names ➡ Add
3. Enter APN: cmhk
4. Restart your phone
 
[How to Use Your Renewal Data Plan]
Your renewal data plan will automatically activate after the validity period of your initial plan ends. Please DO NOT scan the QR code again to install it.
1. For plans with high-speed data that slows after usage: Any remaining reduced-speed data from your initial plan will be used first. After the initial plan's validity period ends, restart your phone to begin using your renewal plan. (If you need to end the initial plan early, please contact customer support.)
2. For plans with high-speed data that stops after usage: Once your high-speed data runs out, restart your phone to start using your renewal plan.
If you wish to use the eSIM on another device, please select "Book Again" instead of "Request Renewal". Renewal data plans cannot be transferred to a new device.
Change & cancellation policies
If a cancellation request is submitted before 00:00, 1 day(s) prior to the expiration date, no cancellation fee will be charged.
If a cancellation request is submitted after 00:00 1 day(s) before the expiration date, a fee of 100% will be charged.
Cancellation is not allowed once the product is activated.
If a discount is applied, the cancellation fee will be calculated based on the original price before the discount and will not exceed the amount paid.
Partial refund is not available.
Important note

[Phone Compatibility] 

1.Your device supports eSIM function 

Query Method: Dial "*#06#" in the dial interface. If "EID" is displayed, the phone supports eSIM; if not, it does not support eSIM. 


2. The phone is not a network-locked phone 

Query Method: Check with your Telecom Operator to see if your device is open for all network bands 

* Please check whether you meet the above conditions before purchasing. Only when all conditions are met can you use eSIM normally. 


[Set up eSIM] 

eSIM installation and activation require a stable internet connection. We recommend installing it within 6 hours before departure. Upon arrival at your destination, connect to a stable network before activating your data plan.


[Enable Data Roaming] 

Please make sure that the "Data Roaming" option for the eSIM is enabled.
