There are quite a few excursions to Chiang Rai, and they all have similar descriptions. Specifically, here you'll visit the hot springs, a village, the White and Blue Temples, the Black House, and the Golden Triangle. Keep in mind that the return journey from the Golden Triangle to Chiang Mai takes four hours, and we didn't arrive at the hotel until around 9 p.m. Keep this in mind when planning. I didn't really like the Black House—it looks like an exhibition by an artist who loves phalluses and dead animals. However, there are cats with colorful collars there. If such a long and exhausting excursion isn't for you, I'd recommend simply visiting three temples—the White, Blue, and Red. The Longneck Village is very strange and uncomfortable. That's regarding the route. As for the organization, everything is fine; we've been to this guide before, but! The lunch was completely inedible; everything was either spicy or deep-fried. It was a buffet near the White Temple. It would be nice if the organization changed the location of the lunch.★

A Visit to Four Temples in Chiang Rai
In the morning light, the White Temple, pure white as a mirror, reflects a sacred glow, while the Bridge of Helplessness lies serenely beside the turquoise pond. The Blue Temple, indigo-washed with gold, resembles a deep-sea palace under the bright sun, its eaves chiming in the breeze. The Black Temple, with its forest of black wood, stands solemnly and mysteriously against the backdrop of greenery and sunlight. The Red Temple, with its bright vermilion walls and upturned eaves reflecting the blue sky, is surrounded by lush vegetation, the gentle sound of Buddhist chants filling the air with a sense of exotic tranquility.★

The day trip covered all that was in the itinerary. I like that there is no hidden costs and it covered all the entrance tickets. The timing allowed at each venue was sufficient. The guide Viki and the driver were both professional. This tour is recommended if you have a full day to spare and wish to visit Chiangrai. The hot spring was boring but I understood that it was a rest/toilet break. The white temple is beautiful. Lalita Cafe, though pretty, with very nice potted orchids attached to trees and the countless koi fish in the pond, is overrated.★

The time is ok. However some stops are so short like in the hot springs that with 15 min you can barely enjoy it. On the other hand, I would wish the long neck village would feel more authentic.
