A super friendly guide led the way. He shared lots of interesting facts about this flower-filled route. It's not a particularly challenging route, but the heat definitely makes it feel like a real challenge. The group is small, so everyone's pace is taken into account. Highly recommended.

It was a lovely day out. Diego was an absolute delight, very knowledgable, kind and funny. A very good driver. A credit to the Bearded Madeira Tour company that he worked for. The day was varied with a trip to a pretty fishing village, glass floor visit at the top of the mountain, Fanal Forest, volcanic rock pools. Enough time in each spot to have a good look round and enjoy each experience. Would definitely recommend - very enjoyable

Who ever said 70+ people can do this are lying unless they are super super fit. Expect to climb a lot of stairs. It was a great experience over all. You can definitely see how far your limit is with this hike. Would recommend.

Where do I begin? Nico and David made our dream holiday adventure into a reality. We completed the peak-to-peak sunrise hike. Both guides were professional yet extremely welcoming and friendly. They were punctual, kept fantastic communication with us until other time of our trip, were extremely knowledgeable throughout the hike and did everything they could to accommodate our needs. During the hike, the pace was adapted to suit our pace of walking and there was a good balance of information and quiet time provided, meaning we could learn whilst also having time to soak up the views and focus on the hike! We felt super safe throughout our experience and felt as though we had the ‘upper hand’ by having a tour guide (top tips for the walk, best parts of the island and a personal photographer!). Additionally, we stopped off at Santana on the way home and got to explore the village market as well as the famous sights. Lastly, our tour guide was able to capture a truly special moment for us, that will last a lifetime. We are ever grateful for the videography skills! Nothing was too much to ask and we could not recommend the team highly enough. We will never forget this experience! Thank you so much.

We had a fantastic 4x4 tour with True Spirit, and our guide, Carl, was especially great. He was friendly and provided extensive explanations. He regularly asked if everything was alright. Everything was incredibly well organized. If I had known, I would have booked him for every excursion. A real winner!
