From Grindelwald, take the "Eiger Express" cable car to the Eigergletscher station. In just 15 minutes, the modern cable car, opened in 2020, takes you to the station. Along the way, you'll enjoy spectacular views of the mighty, 1800-meter-high Eiger North Face. At Eigergletscher, change to the cog railway and travel through the Eiger and Mönch mountain ranges to Jungfraujoch. A short stop is made at Eismeer station, where you can admire and photograph the impressive glacier through a large panoramic window.

The Jungfraujoch is suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Access to the Ice Palace is equipped with a wheelchair stairlift.

Groups of 3 or more wheelchairs should inform the station staff at the departure station about their trip. This way, any necessary assistance can be organised.
A roughly 45-minute hike takes you from Jungfraujoch between March and October over the glacier to Mönchsjochhütte, which is situated at 3,657 meters above sea level. The path is well signposted and prepared. This easy hike is suitable for children as well. Wear good shoes, and nothing will stand in the way of your adventure in the Swiss mountain world.
