A wonderful experience! We were picked up in the morning from our doorstep, and by 9:00 we were at the Sapienza refuge. From there, Francesco, our guide, took us on a walk of about two hours through the snow and the spectacular landscape of Etna! The walk lasted two hours because Francesco explained so much to us, it wasn't tiring at all, and what's more, we hadn't planned this excursion, so we just had sneakers and jeans, so we had no problems. After the walk, we stopped at the refuge for a quick lunch and then continued to the lava cave, another wonderful experience! Then we went to a winery for a tasting, perhaps the least beautiful part because it wasn't as evocative as the previous ones, but enjoyable nonetheless. By 4:00 pm, we were back at our doorstep. We went on this excursion with four teenagers who weren't easy to impress or get interested, but they came back enthusiastically! Francesco was a very kind and friendly guide. This morning we realized we'd forgotten some gloves in the van, and this evening he came to the house to bring them back... truly speechless! Thanks again for the beautiful day and for convincing me to join the walk!★

We were at the end of our one month Sicily trip and wanted experience a hike to Etna. Unfortunately the rest of the days we had left on the trip were a bit rainy and foggy. It didn’t bother as much as we were afraid of, actually on the highest point we reached it was also some pretty clear moments. The guide was super, we learned a lot, he took a personal contact to everyone, we got to hear also something from the group during the day, and learn about Sicily, Taormina, vulcanos and much more. After the hike we had a sandwich lunch and a glass of wine so we didn’t have to carry any food with us. We recommend this! Thank all who attended our trip.★

Easy top high summit tour, 8 of us (they take a maximum of 16 - two minibuses). Didn’t take payment until the end of the tour, with our permission.
Lunch was plentiful. Wouldn’t buy their wine though!
Ricardo was very attentive and the mountain guide was excellent. I couldn’t always hear what Ricardo was saying sitting in the back of the minibus, but knew he was chatting about the land and volcanic history. Can you please supply your guides with a head mic. Also it would be helpful to announce the format of the day, and each time when we set off how long it’ll be to the next stop, and what that will be and for how long.
Small point though…I would recommend this trip and this company (after much research!). Thank you Etna People 😀★

We had the most amazing day with Andrea! Etna was spectacular and worth the pain I will felt in my legs the next day. Im not an experienced hiker and our guide was very patient with my slow ascent. The provision of hiking poles was a great help. Andrea has so much knowledge and he took the whole thing to another level with his insights. I am a plant lover and he was able to answer so many questions for me.
The cave was scary but exciting.
The gorge was amazing and the water invigorating to paddle in.
Lunch at the Emilio Sciacca Etna winery was wonderful 😋 and the view from there was beautiful.
