The day we spent touring with Alex was the highlight of my visit to Namibia. His wealth of knowledge, pride in showing off the region’s natural beauty, and some impressive driving skills made for a thoroughly enjoyable day. Also have to mention the food. I knew lunch was included, but I’d pretty much expected a sandwich and maybe a bottle of beer. He delivered a feast!

It was the absolute best experience and we can 100% recommend this tour to anyone! We saw a lot of animals which the captain could tell us a lot about. The lunch on the beach was really lovely prepared and all the crew were the nicest people. We felt in good hands at all times :)

We can wholeheartedly recommend this tour. It was a wonderful and varied day. The boat tour with the German-speaking guide Billi was fantastic. He was very friendly and provided us with lots of information about the animals. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. The Sandwich Harbour Dune tour with the charming and friendly Gerhard was just as enjoyable. It was just the two of us in his car, and we saw so much. Gerhard is a very good and safe driver. During a break, we enjoyed delicious snacks prepared by Chef Herman's wife. Pick-up at the cruise port was seamless.

The tour was divided into two parts: a 6-hour session in Sandwich Harbour and a 3-hour boat trip in Walvis Bay. Both were very well organized and highly recommended. The desert tour, in particular, was fantastic and, thanks to our guide Andreas, unforgettable. A generous buffet with sparkling wine and oysters was offered during both parts of the tour. For me, it was one of the best tours I've taken in recent years.


