Option 1: Full-day Chengdu Panda Base & Leshan Giant Buddha Group Tour

This tour is designed for a long but incredibly rewarding day, showcasing two of Sichuan's most famous treasures.

Detailed Itinerary& Suggested Timing:

07:40 AM - 08:30 AM: Hotel pick-up/Meet at meeting point &Transfer to Chengdu Panda Base

08:30 AM - 11:00 AM: Panda Base Visit

Arrive at the Panda Base as it opens—the best time to see the pandas when they are most active. Stroll through the beautiful park-like facility to observe adult pandas munching on bamboo, playful juveniles, and the adorable, tiny panda cubs (in the nursery, if available).

11:00 AM - 1:30 PM:Transfer to Leshan

Relax during the approximately 2.5-hour drive to Leshan City.

01:30 PM - 02:30 PM: Lunch Time (At your own expense)

Enjoy a quick and tasty local Sichuan lunch at a selected restaurant near the Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area.

03:00 PM - 05:00 PM: Marvel at the Giant Buddha

Arrive at Leshan. We recommend the *hiking route* to fully appreciate the scale and artistry of the Buddha. Walk along the cliff-side path, descend the famous "Nine-Bend Plank Walk", and stand at the feet of the 71-meter tall statue for a truly awe-inspiring experience.

05:00 PM - 07:30 PM: Return Journey to Chengdu ; End tour at Chengdu Tianfu Square

Return drive to Chengdu, with an expected arrival at Chengdu downtown around 7:30 PM. Finally end the tour at Tianfu Square.

Option 2: Half-day Chengdu Panda Base Group Tour

This compact morning itinerary is perfectly designed to visit the pandas at their most active and avoid the afternoon crowds.
