Reviews: Lake District National Park day tour|Comfortable minibus/Windermere Lake cruise included

Although the trip has been several days, but still remember the tour guide on the way to the wonderful explanation. Although we don't understand the specific content, the explanation of the cowboy-dressed tour guide and the good music he matched during the explanation process, so that we can also feel the music picture of the story sometimes cheerful, sometimes gentle and sometimes broad. Awesome! Because he knows that our English is not good, so we always take special care of us when we park on the way, which makes us feel very warm. Thank you! The only regret is that Trip.com here, until the meeting time is approaching, there is no phone call for our tour guide, tell us which tour bus to go on, let us find it ourselves. It is also recommended that Trip.com When providing this kind of English tour group later, you should be able to provide a bilingual travel notice in Chinese and English. This way, we can also find it ourselves when we look for the bus at the meeting point.
Reviews: From Manchester: Lake District Bus Tour & Windermere Cruise
Guest User2026-02-26
We joined this tour last weekend and it was easily a 5-star experience from start to finish. Our guide, Darren, was absolutely amazing—his knowledge of the area is incredible, and he kept us entertained with fascinating history and great tips on local delicacies to try along the way. The itinerary is perfectly paced; we started in Bowness-on-Windermere for a stunning lake cruise, then explored the charming villages of Hawkshead and Grasmere. We also got to see the iconic Bridge House and passed through the beautiful Grizedale Forest. It’s the perfect way to see the highlights of the Lake District without the stress of driving those narrow lanes yourself. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Manchester; we will definitely be booking another tour soon!
Reviews: Mountain Goat Full Day Tour: Ten Lakes Tour of the Lake District
Guest User2024-08-10
We did the full day 10 lakes tour with Mountain Goat Tours! We had a spectacular experience. The van was clean and roomy. Our driver Graham was top-notch, he took the time to learn our names before the start of the tour, this made the tour seem more personable. He was great with my kids. During the tour her was so knowledgable and willing to answer all of our questions. What was appreciated most was how great of a driver Graham was, the narrow roads and hills would have seemed more scary without Graham behind the wheel. Thanks Graham and Mountain Goat Tours for a wonderful experience through the Lake District
Reviews: 6 hour Private tour of the Lake District.

My husband and I are from Australia and organised a private tour with David. We're so pleased we did; we found him to be extremely knowledgeable and had a thoroughly enjoyable day with him. He told us about the history of the different places we visited, took us to some special unexpected sites, and also a couple of sites we specifically asked about. We found him to be an excellent tour guide and can not speak highly enough of the tour and David's coordination of it. He added extra little touches from his own research, such as old photos of some of the sites, so it gave more context and made the history come alive.
Reviews: Nikko World Heritage 1-day Tour: Toshogu Shrine & Lake Chūzenji & Kegon Waterfalls & Hot Spring Bathing in Onsen Village
Guest User2026-01-24
This trip was absolutely amazing. Toshogu Shrine is a World Heritage Site. Unlike typical Japanese aesthetics, it is resplendent and extremely luxurious, conveying behavioral principles through sculptures. The most famous is the use of monkeys to represent Confucius's teachings: "Do not look at what is improper, do not listen to what is improper, do not speak what is improper." Kegon Waterfall is crystal clear, its spray like shattered jade. Lake Chuzenji is serene and breathtaking, reminiscent of Switzerland. The Irohazaka Slope is thrilling and unforgettable. Our guide, Zhao, has superb driving skills, navigating corners with impeccable smoothness, comparable to a racing legend.
