The Huangpu River nightlife is the flagship project of Shanghai's urban tourism and the perfect way to experience the city's dual charm of "century-old Bund and modern Pudong." As night falls, the riverbanks illuminate, showcasing a striking contrast between the historic architectural gallery on one side and the soaring modern skyline on the other. With the river breeze and dazzling lights, immerse yourself in Shanghai's nostalgic Taste of China and international vibrancy. The entire journey is filled with ambiance, making it ideal for solo bookings, couple outings, or family trips.

Classic 45 minute night cruise route: Approximately 45 minutes in duration. Departing from the wharf, the route passes by the Bund World Architecture Expo (century-old European-style buildings outlined in warm yellow lights), Waibaidu Bridge (retro steel structure lighting), Lujiazui skyline (featuring the colorful lights of the Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai Tower, Jin Mao Tower, and Shanghai World Financial Center in one frame), North Bund's Magnolia Plaza, and the Qinhuangdao Road Wharf turnaround point before smoothly returning to the original wharf, perfectly connecting Pudong's modernity with Puxi's retro charm.

The core charm of the Huangpu River nightlife lies in the blend of ancient and modern, East and West along its banks, where every view is distinctly Shanghai and not to be missed.
•
The bund architectural complex in Puxi: One of the highlights of nightlife, featuring 52 European classical buildings in diverse styles illuminated by warm yellow lights. Gothic, Baroque, and Renaissance architectures stand in picturesque disorder, each bearing a century of Shanghai's history. Known as the "museum of international architecture," the soft nighttime lighting creates a full retro ambiance.
•
The Pudong Lujiazui skyline: Facing the Bund across the river, the colorful lights of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the dazzling light bands of the Shanghai Tower, and the towering silhouettes of the Jin Mao Tower and the Shanghai World Financial Center create a modern spectacle, showcasing the prosperity of Shanghai as an international metropolis.
•
Cross-river bridges and distinctive bridges: Waibaidu bridge, a century-old landmark in Shanghai, features retro lighting on its steel structure, making it a classic internet-famous spot; Yangpu bridge and Nanpu bridge impress with their grandeur, their nighttime lighting outlining the structures across the river, creating a spectacular sight.
•
The north bund and riverside night view: The modern buildings such as the magnolia plaza and international passenger transport center feature simple yet elegant lighting, forming a triangular viewing angle with pudong and the bund. The open vista with fewer crowds offers a tranquil setting, perfect for capturing panoramic shots.
