We are bird watchers and general nature lovers here in the UK so it was great to experience the nature in Mauritius. Our guide was very informative and looked after us extremely well (we are both in our mid seventies although reasonably fit). Anyone contemplating taking this excursion, particularly those of advanced years, should be aware that it involves a tough walk through the forest.
