We planned this excursion for our daughter's 16th birthday, and it did not disappoint. We paid for the basic package online, but when we got there the representative talked to us about the gold package and we decided to go for it: best decision we could have made and I highly recommend the upgrade to anyone taking part. It was great to do all of the activities in a smaller group, especially the cenote swim and supper. The area itself is beautiful and the guides are incredibly helpful. We especially loved our guide Raúl, who had a great sense of humour and excellent music! The whole day, including travel to and from our hotel in Playa del Carmen was about six hours, and it felt like the right amount of time: we weren’t rushed and we weren’t anywhere long enough to feel like it was time to move on. All in all, we had an incredible experience and we are very happy we went. I highly recommend this excursion!★

Absolute must do! A highlight of our holiday, we were blown away by the activities, and the quality of food and organisation of the whole site. We got there early and were able to do everything. The safety of everyone was at the heart of the staff so we felt comfortable doing the zip lines etc. Great value for money!★

Jesus and Joshua were excellent hosts! The boat is clean and comfortable. They took 11 of us out to snorkel at 3 different locations. Joshua was in the water with us providing help and pointing out marine life and interesting items underwater. They provided an excellent lunch at a cute restaurant on the beach. I will definitely be booking with them again!★

I was honestly impressed with Island Adventures. Everything was well explained before we started. Ernesto (captain) and Kevin ( our guide) were very attentive and helpful at all times. Kevin explained how to use the snorkels abs was super patient with those who could not swim very well. I felt safe all time with my kids. I particularly enjoyed being in a smaller group setting for this type of activity with my teens. We booked the 8 person max trip so the boat was of course smaller but safe none the less. If you experience sea sickness then this type of boat would likely make you queasy. We had the most amazing time! And we saw a big turtle!!
