Welcome to Wuxi Lingshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area!It's located on the shore of Taihu Lake, and covers an area of about 30 hectares. It integrates natural landscapes with profound Buddhist culture and art, including China's tallest Sakyamuni Buddha statue(88-meter-high). It can be called a blessed land and a pure land.
(1) 08:00 The driver will meet you at the lobby of your hotel(please reserve the name and exact address of your hotel) and then drive you to Wuxi Lingshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area(approx. 3 hours).
(2) 11:00 Lingshan Scenic Spots(approx. 2 hours).
The route: Wash your hands and calm your mind in the Xixin Pool--Buddha Foot Altar--Bodhi Avenue--Nine Dragons Bathing (music fountain performances at 11:30/14:45/16:40 simulate the birth scene of Sakyamuni)--Phoenix Statue receives the Eight Merits Water, wash your hands and calm your mind--China's largest forged copper three-dimensional Buddha sculpture, describing the story of the Buddha's defeating demons and attaining enlightenment--Peace Dove Square to feed pigeons--Touch the giant Buddha's hand--Xiangfu Zen Temple--Climb Dengyun Avenue, 218 steps, throw away 108 kinds of troubles and realize 108 kinds of wishes--Exterior view of the world's tallest Sakyamuni Buddha statue of 88 meters--Enter the Buddhist Museum--Come to the Buddha's feet + enjoy the full view of Lingshan.
(3) 13:00 Lunch at your own expense(approx. 1 hour).
Recommend: Buffet lunch at Wuguan Hall, 2F, Lingshan Brahma Palace or Vegetarian set meal at Wuguan Hall, 3F, Lingshan Brahma Palace.
(Please note that dining time of Wuguan Hall is available from 10:30-14:00)
(4) 15:00 Oriental Louvre: Lingshan Brahma Palace(approx. 1 hour).
Recommend: Dongyang woodcarving--Dunhuang murals--Yangzhou lacquerware--Stone carving--Blue and white porcelain--Auspicious chant performance(You can only reserve the show after entering the scenic area).
(5) 16:00 Tibetan Buddhist style:Five Mudras Mandala(approx. 1 hour).
Recommend: Turn the prayer wheel clockwise to pray.
