Wow 🤩 😮🤯😱 I started to write this really great review because Nick was an amazing guide and driver for this trip. Then the Trip.com app decided to close out on me. It was really good to do the Tuk Tuk version of the Tour even though it was a very hot day. Nick had waters and brews for us. Also, he was able to modify the tour a bit according to our needs (I was a solo traveler with a UK couple). Everything to our own needs was very much appreciated. There’s no words to explain the locality and depth we saw and experienced of the capital city of Cambodia.  I don’t wanna share too many photos because I think it’s important. Everyone takes in to their own perspectives. Bring Cash, Be ready to filter energy, and carry some snacks in case the weather is new to you. Extra stops were taken to enjoy knowledge of new developments with partnering countries.★

Reviews: Half Day Silk Island Cruise and Tours with English speaking guide

We really enjoyed this half day trip to the silk islands. Our guide was attentive and informative throughout the tour duration where he told us some history of Cambodia, particularly about the 4 rivers and also some history about the Budda.
We got picked up at our hotel at 8am ish (right on time) by tuk tuk and were at the jetty not long after. From there the boat to the silk island took about an hr. We were served a cold drink once the boat took off.
At the island we first walk past all the Stupas on the way into the village, where we were given more local information. After that we got a tuk tuk to the silk farm attraction site via a stall where our guide got us all some fried banana and sweet potato snacks to try. Very nice.
At the silk island attraction we had a different local guide taking us around to explain everything about the silk worms and the ladies who work there doing all the works by hand, and weaving the patterns as had been passed down through their families.
On the way back on the boat we were served fresh fruit and another drink of choice.
A very enjoyable half day tour, which took about 4 hours all in all. ★

We wanted a water trip during the day and most were at night. Booked this one the evening before and called them early morning (7am) to confirm pick up. English was not a problem. We were the only booking and time was arranged for our convience. Fun tuktuk ride and a friendly welcome on the boat - smaller,old stock with character. Great information and engagement with our guide who provided fresh fruit and offered refreshments too.
Such contrast with river lifestyles and significant development. What a hard working people.
