Reviews: Akihabara Anime & Game Adventure Walking Tour (Group or Private)

We had a fantastic time on our Akihabara tour with Naoki. He was incredibly kind, patient, and thoughtful (especially with our two kids, one of whom is autistic) and he really tailored the experience to their interests rather than doing a generic walk-through. What stood out most was how much care he took with our food allergies. He gave us practical, realistic advice about eating in Japan and even made us handwritten allergy cards in Japanese, which was far beyond what we expected and will be very helpful for the rest of our time here. He also helped us navigate the chaos of Akihabara (which is a lot) making it a fun experience - and giving us the tools we will need to come back later to finish our shopping - my son is also excited to try out the cat cafe he pointed out! Thank you, Naoki! Highly recommend this tour, especially for families or anyone feeling a bit intimidated by Akihabara.

The food tour with Aki was more than a tour, it was an experience. Out of all the tours I did on my trip to Japan, his was the best! Very personalized and unique, as well as informational and fun. The food is 10/10. I tried foods I never would have tried on my own, and some varieties of foods I was more familiar with but different, like a chicken based ramen that was so rich and delicious. I surprised myself by the variety of sashimi that I actually liked, as I'm normally a tuna and salmon girl. Come hungry because there is a lot to eat. I was stuffed by the end of the night. I joined the tour as a solo traveler, my tour was a small group of 4, but Aki brought us all together and showed us such a good time that the 4 of us ended up hanging out after the tour to explore a bit more. Aki answered all our random questions, shared some great cultural tidbits with us, and you can really tell how passionate he is about his tour and his country. I would recommend this tour to all my friends.

Patrick was a great tour guide !! We loved every minute we spent walking around Tokyo gaining a lot of knowledge throughout the day. Patrick was very attentive, knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. We asked to see some hidden gems and he was able to provide. Thanks to Patrick we were able to gain a good local experience by tasting high quality sake and other local foods. I recommend Patrick as a tour guide to anyone seeking a great experience in Tokyo.

We had a wonderful private day trip to Mt. Fuji with our guide, Mr. Long. He was professional, friendly, and an excellent communicator throughout. Mr. Long planned the itinerary well, managed our time efficiently, and provided us with attentive care at each attraction. He also shared a wealth of knowledge about Mt. Fuji and helped us find the best photo spots. The itinerary was relaxed and well-organized, and we even visited Gotemba Premium Outlets at the end. We had a fantastic time, thank you Mr. Long!

Our tour guide, Kiki, was incredibly thoughtful! She could switch fluently between Chinese and English, ensuring that every tourist could understand her explanations. She would also proactively share useful tips, such as the best spots for taking photos. For someone like me who doesn't drive, having a direct bus was so convenient; I didn't have to worry about transportation at all!

Each spot allocates ample time, but the time at the clear water village is a bit too short. We finished eating and then didn't have enough time to walk around. To make it work, it would be best to eat beforehand and then explore on your own, as they have a meeting time already set.
