The penguin parade at Asahiyama Zoo is a specialty of the zoo in winter. Definitely recommend seeing this.

Cramped in a small van and really uncomfortable made my leg strained and tired in the next morning. Anyhow, the itinerary was okay with timing for solo traveller. The Asahiyama we could not see all the animals, only the selective ones. But you must go straight away to the penguin parade path once enter the zoo.
