Taupō: AJ Hackett Taupō Swing - NZ's Only Cliff-Face Drop!

Try the feet-first and mind-blowing rush of the Taupō Swing. Located 5-minutes from Taupo town center, this is a great alternative to a bungy jump or the perfect addition to combine with your bungy experience.

Once you arrive on-site, you'll read through the registration requirements, check-in, get harnessed and head out to the platform. Choose to swing solo or as a tandem with a friend - the price is the same per person. Your highly trained and friendly crew will set you up for your swing experience. Attached, you will then be brought out 44-meters above the river, dangling mid-air, until your countdown or surprise release.

Plunge straight down, reaching speeds of 70 kp/h as you free-fall towards the river, then arcing up to 180°. The heavier the weight, the faster and higher you will go! Tandems are recommended, so why not grab a friend and experience the fun together. Enjoy the stunning views of the beautiful Waikato River Valley as you are brought back to the platform via a winch, where you'll probably say "Can I do it again?"
