From there, you'll visit what was the most important temple in the Inca Empire, the Coricancha, also known as the Temple of the Sun. Keep up the archaeological discoveries as you visit the towers, walls, and tunnels of Sacsayhuaman.
Then, the tour goes through the Sacred Valley of Peru with stops at the Qenqo Temple, followed by Puca Pucara, a large military fortress with a fascinating arrangement of large stones. Finally, learn more about the life of the Incas in the charming Tambomachay, located 3700 meters above sea level with a fascinating series of water fountains that are believed to have been built in adoration of water.
