Alex was an amazing guide. So knowledgeable, good diversity of information as well to keep it interesting, as well as good humour. Playing a few famous local songs along the way at key moments was a great touch. He also took some of the best pictures of me I’ve had! Would highly recommend.

I was short on time but wanted to see the highlights of the city and this tour was perfect! The cost was very reasonable and I would highly recommend this. I chose the morning tour as I only had a couple hours. The meeting point was easy to find, and Tara, my tour guide was great. We stopped at so many places, even if I would’ve had a car I never would’ve found them all by myself. Some beautiful architecture, passed by many beautiful parks and hiking trail trails and saw all the highlights.

Cindy was an excellent and very experienced local guide. We booked a private tour, and she planned our route and itinerary according to our departure time. She showed us the train arriving and departing from the station, which was so interesting! Then we went straight to the floating market, arriving on time without missing a beat. She even helped us queue and found a less crowded stall to eat at in the bustling market. Finally, she arranged time for us to experience elephant riding according to our wishes! Thank you, Cindy!

Transportation wasn't very convenient, so after thinking about it, we decided to hire a car, which might be more cost-effective. The wildlife park can only be explored by car, and there were quite a few animals. However, it was really hot, and many animals were resting in the shade, so they weren't very active. We also left too late. The downside of hiring a car for a day trip is the limited time—only 6 hours. Beyond that, it costs 200 baht per hour. During the walking tour, many shows are missed, making it not worthwhile. If your accommodation has convenient transportation, it's best to avoid group tours and buy individual tickets, which will give you more time.
