Things to do in Dilijan

Dilijan National Park, one of Armenia's four national parks, is renowned for its 94% forest coverage, earning it the nickname "Armenia's Switzerland." Built around the picturesque town of Dilijan, about a 1.5-2 hour drive from the capital Yerevan, it's a popular summer retreat and holiday destination for locals. The park's core location and features are centered around the town of Dilijan, surrounded by mountains and dense forests, offering cool summers. Lake Paz and Lake Dilijan (both free to enter), Haghatsin Monastery (free to enter), and Gosavank Monastery are all located within its grounds.

Sevan in Armenia is the closest region to Georgia. There are not many people here, and even fewer tourists, which makes it full of exploration. The architectural style here is Caucasian.

This statue is one of the symbols of the city of Dilijan. The statue represents the Armenian, Georgian and Russian heroes of the Soviet film “Mimino”. It is a must stop point while visiting Dilijan.
