Reviews: Kangaroo Island Full Day Experience by Ferry Including Lunch

It's a long trip. It takes two hours to get to the ferry that takes you to Kangaroo Island. The island is quite large; we toured most of it, stopping at Seal Bay to see the seals, and had lunch at a family-run restaurant. After lunch, we went to see the incredible rock formations of Flinder's Chase National Park, truly impressive. It's possible to hike there, and the scenery is beautiful. Right after that, we visited Admiral's Arch near the sea. The final visit was to an animal sanctuary where it's possible to interact with adorable kangaroos and koalas. The return trip starts at 7:30 PM, arriving in Adelaide at 10:30 PM. The day was long but very interesting. The guide/driver on the island was professional.

We had a golden afternoon kayaking the sanctuary. Sunset 7 pm tour, navigating mangroves. Using skills manuring the branches. Great guides who simply explained techniques, and stayed close behind myself and partner. They caught things if they fell out! Pointed out special sights. Highlight was team work with partner and spotting a dolphin, being with friends. An awesome way to spend a golden afternoon, quietly in estuary.
