This was a wonderful day trip. We saw some stunning landscapes and scenery. Our guide was very knowledgeable and professional. He was also humorous and we enjoyed his company very much. We saw a lot of spectacular places on this full day trip and can highly recommend the company.

There are no negatives on this tour. From pick up in a nice van, amazing landscapes during the drive, fantastic and insightful guide notes and travel suggestions from an amazing guide, onto a truly breathtaking tear-jerking view of the waterfall. Being so intensely immersed in such a strong and vast wonder of nature is a very humbling and personal experience which gives you a strong sense of connection and insignificance simultaneously. The guide, Gísli, had plenty to tell about the history of Akureyri, his family connection with the town, the mountains, the farms and very useful notes on living in Iceland, activities and places of interest for travellers. He spoke with such pride and excitement about his impressions, I honestly felt jealous I didn’t grow up here. Thank you very much, Gísli. I will be looking forward to coming back.

Very good. Unfortunately, the description was inadequate. The possibility of swimming in the Blue Lagoon wasn't immediately clear. Furthermore, there were several other stops.


