Reviews: Bohol: Dolphin Watching + Virgin Island + Balicasag Snorkeling Day Tour|Encounter with Sea Turtles
Guest User2026-10-21
I got up very early, but didn't see any dolphins. Maybe a bunch of boats were there, scaring the dolphins away. Baricasa: 30 minutes. Snorkeling and saw turtles and schools of fish. Virgin Island: only 20 minutes, didn't explore it much. Felt rushed; most of the time was spent on the road and on the boat.

Reviews: Philippine Bohol dolphin watching + Balicasag Island + Virgin Island 1-day tour [Snorkeling, preferred]

**Review** Overall the tour was good, but there was an issue with the drop-off at the end — the description stated we'd be dropped off at the same starting point, but instead our group was left at the beach and told we'd need to pay 50 PHP per person for a tuktuk to get back. Our guide was kind enough to personally drop me off for free, thank you to him for that, but the rest of the group had to call and question why this happened. It's not really about the money — it's about the organization not matching what was promised.

Reviews: Bohol Countryside One-Day Tour (Chocolate Hills, Tarsier and Loboc River Cruise)
Guest User2026-10-10
A huge thank you to our driver, Jodel, for the tour and safe driving! Everything was fantastic; we were absolutely delighted and pleasantly surprised. Even though I booked a group tour, there were just the two of us in a car, so it felt like a private tour. We drove at our own pace and missed the church due to traffic problems, but that didn't spoil the experience. Thanks again!

Reviews: Cebu 1-day tour to Bohol Island: Chocolate Hills, Tarsier Sanctuary, Loboc River Cruise with Meal & Butterfly Garden
Guest User2026-03-23
This day trip was packed with activities, and I really wished I could stay another day! Even with only six or seven hours, I felt the charm of Bohol. In particular, the boat trip on the Loboc River with lunch, the close encounter with tarsiers, and the 4x4 ride at the Chocolate Hills (extra charge) were invaluable experiences that gave me a unique and enjoyable time. Furthermore, the guide was knowledgeable, humorous, and his enthusiastic hospitality made the trip even more wonderful. He also recommended some other attractions, so if I have the chance to go to Bohol again, I hope to stay overnight instead of just doing a day trip!

1. They picked us up directly from the hotel, which was quite punctual. I suggest reminding everyone of the progress in the group chat beforehand to reduce waiting time. 2. The bus wasn't crowded even for a group of seven, and everyone in the group was very quiet. 3. Half an hour is more than enough to see the Chocolate Hills; it's mostly just for taking pictures. 4. Most of the monkeys were sleeping, except for one with its eyes open. It was hard to get a clear picture with my phone because they were all hiding in the leaves. 5. Most of the attractions were relatively simple, so it relied on the group members' self-discipline. Everyone in my group was enthusiastic and punctual, so I had a great time. 6. Everyone agreed that the boat tour was very fun, especially the crispy roast pork, which was delicious. 7. Being in a separate group chat meant that any questions were answered promptly, which made me feel very safe. Overall, I recommend experiencing it. There aren't many other activities, haha, it's nice to relax a bit.
