The activity was fun right from when we got into the back of the vehicle that was driven by Miguel. Myself and travelling companion were introduced to the rest of the group and Miguel did a great job in getting a bit of fun going in the group. When we met up with Fabrizio where we got changed, everything was organised and really professional. We were given good safety instructions. The group was mixed with all age groups and yet we had everyone go through the canyoning and repelling down waterfalls in a confident manner. The guys were really trustworthy and took plenty of pics which they shared with us afterwards. I was on a fact-finding mission as I plan to bring an adult break/retreat here in November and will certainly be talking to Fabrizio and Miguel to have their canyoning experience on my trip. Big thank you to the guys from Allen and Kevin from Ireland :-)

It was a lovely day out. Diego was an absolute delight, very knowledgable, kind and funny. A very good driver. A credit to the Bearded Madeira Tour company that he worked for. The day was varied with a trip to a pretty fishing village, glass floor visit at the top of the mountain, Fanal Forest, volcanic rock pools. Enough time in each spot to have a good look round and enjoy each experience. Would definitely recommend - very enjoyable

Fantastic trip today. Toni and Mateus kept us well entertained. The driving was superb and as the pools were closed due to the wind we had longer in Fanal Forest which we loved.

We saw pilot whales & dolphins. Definitely worth the price. The crew explain about each animal after we see them. Highly recommend this activity

Who ever said 70+ people can do this are lying unless they are super super fit. Expect to climb a lot of stairs. It was a great experience over all. You can definitely see how far your limit is with this hike. Would recommend.

It was simply amazing! - we saw a lot of pilot whales and they came so close! The crew took the time to explain everything about their behaviours, there was a baby pilot whale next to the mother and it is interesting to know the way they sleep. I can highly recommend this trip which is fun-pact and also relaxing with great views over the island of Madeira!


