We booked a day tour and would recommend it, as the park is really very large and this gives you a better chance of seeing lots of animals. We were also lucky enough to have a completely private tour, as there were no other bookings that day (Sunday). Our guide, Ephisas, was very friendly, spoke good English, and told us a lot about the animals (he could say something about every animal, big or small), giving us many great photo opportunities and memorable moments. The food/barbecue (prepared by our guide) was delicious, and the drinks bar kept us well-hydrated (with and without alcohol). We definitely recommend this tour.

Adam is an excellent tour guide. There was a bit of a mix up with my booking, but Adam was so gracious and still took me on the cruise, even though there weren't other people. We chatted about the river and the surrounding area. He's quite knowledgeable and he is so kind.
