Reviews: Marble Carving or Mosaic Basic Techniques -3 hour lesson -
Guest User2026-09-07
He is a truly nice and lovely person. He welcomed us warmly, and then we headed together to the workshop in his garden. The marble art he has created himself and displayed in the garden is simply wonderful. He is very patient when explaining things and is always on hand to help if we run into any snags. You also get to try the lemonade he makes from his own fruit, as well as his incredibly delicious cookies! Now we have a handmade marble keepsake—a memento like that is worth more than anything you could buy.

Reviews: Naxos: Hike to the Top of Mount Zas with a Guide

Wonderful experience, the route is very good for all levels of hiking. But what makes the activity unique is the guide. Nektarios, thank you for all the information you shared with me.

Reviews: Naxos: A Riverbank Adventure (Kinidaros - Eggares villages)
Guest User2026-07-02
Even though I was the only participant, the tour went ahead. It was very thoughtful that the guide, Nico, had brought walking sticks along as well. Nico is a very good guide, very informative about the stunning surroundings, the flora and fauna (lizards and small water turtles), and also about the history of the area and the history of Naxos. You can tell that he really enjoys hiking himself. We also saw some truly beautiful spots. During the hike itself, I received clear instructions on where to walk and, at the (occasionally) tricky sections, how to place my feet. I enjoyed it immensely; although there were few truly flat sections, the hike is manageable for someone with average fitness, even if you are no longer a spring chicken. I can recommend this activity 100%!

Reviews: Naxos Town: Olive Oil Tasting & Baking with a Full Meal
Guest User2026-09-28
I thoroughly enjoyed this experience! Our guide was wonderful—so warm and personable, and you could really tell how passionate she is about good food and quality ingredients. I learned so much about extra virgin olive oil, especially what to look for when choosing a good one and how to recognize the differences in quality and taste. I use olive oil all the time, so it was interesting to realize how much I didn’t know! While our homemade olive bread was baking, she prepared a full meal for us, including several dishes using recipes passed down from her grandmother. That made the experience feel even more special—it wasn’t just a class, but a chance to enjoy good food, conversation, and a little bit of her family’s traditions. And of course, the freshly baked olive bread was the perfect ending. Absolutely delicious, especially with the olive oil! This was such a nice way to experience a different side of Naxos beyond the beaches and beautiful villages. I learned something, ate very well,
