I booked this snorkle trip for myself and my family (with kids aged 11,13, and 18). I am so glad I booked this one and not one of the larger tours! The tour size was onky about 15 people and 2 crew members, Captian David Corley and Chip. The small size made it feel like we were out for the day with friends instead of strangers. The water is cooler than Kona but warmer than Carlsmith (4 mile) in Hilo so my younger boys only snorkled for a short while before they crawled back into the boat and spent the time chatting with Chip and the captain. The reef is beautiful and I really appreciated all of the Captain and Chip's knowledge of the reef and the history surrounding the bay and the island in general. There were so many different types of fish and the reef is even more beaitiful than I always imagined! On the way back in we ate some pineapple while they shared the story of Captain Cook with us and then showed us some of their favorite spots along the island that you just can't see any other way (another perk of a smaller tour!) We went at 4:30 pm and the weather was perfect and we basically had the bay all to ourselves which was awesome! My whole family had an awsome time! Thank you Catain David and Chip y'all are amazing!
