Reviews: From Larnaca/ Ayia Napa: Troodos Kykkos, Throni & Kakopetria
Guest User2026-10-23
The trip was a long one, which we had prepared for and factored into our choice to go - it took 10 hours, with about 3 of that being travel there and back, and another 2 being travel between sites. The Troodos mountains are beautiful, the church at the Tomb of Makarias stunningly beautiful, as was the one at the Kykkos monastery and the monastery itself. Well worth the long travel to see them. The village at the end was pretty, but I would have preferred longer at the historical sites. The cafe at the Monastery served fab local food with a stunning view of the mountains and a warm welcome from the staff. We had far too short a time at both of the historical sites - 45 minutes at the Tomb/church, with 15 minutes needed to get to and from where the coach parked. Same at Kykkos - an hour and 20 minutes to see the monastery, shop for souvenirs and eat lunch. I could have spent that browsing in the lovely gift shop! All in all a fab trip, spoiled by the lack of time.

Reviews: Self-drive Amathunta Private Speedboat to Blue Lagoon, Caves etc
Guest User2024-09-20
I booked my first ever boating experience with Latchi Watersports. We had previously visited the blue lagoon and Arkamas on the excursions however this was truly on another level. We were a bit nervous given how fsr we would be away from the coastline (200m) due to shallow waters. However the team went through the safety and the regions to stay far away from thoroughly, we also were given an anchoring demonstration after being taken out of the harbor. We went as a couple and struggled with the anchoring however the safety boat was constantly patrolling and we could easily contact them on the radio and they were more than willing to help us at any given point. We were also extremely luck to see 2 turtles! A big thank you to the staff who were friendly, knowledgeable and wanted us to have a great time! Easily the best part of my holiday.

Reviews: Larnaca: Sunset Cruise with a Glass of Wine

Thoroughly enjoyable 1-1/2 hrs. A wonderful, unexpected part was the dancing-first trying to do Greek dancing (way too crowded), then just fun dancing till the end of the cruise. Well worth the cost!!
