Reviews: JR Haruka Kansai Airport Limited Express ticket (e-ticket/physical ticket [requires redemption] optional)
Guest User2026-10-25
I heard that the Haruka is the best for going to the station, so I made a reservation and rode it for the first time. It was really convenient to be able to place my suitcase, and best of all, sitting in a reserved seat was the best part!

Reviews: JR Kansai mini rail pass 3-day (physical ticket/e-ticket optional)
Guest User2026-10-21
I was thinking of exchanging physical tickets, but I can't redeem them when I stay at Tennoji Temple. Finally bought an e-ticket, a little cheaper, registering an Account is quite convenient, just use Gmail is OK. Every time you have to go back into the site to get a QR code out to scan, it has a QR code machine at each gate, you have to find that to get out of the gate. Just a trip to Uji has paid off, and includes the JR Airport Express (not haruka but not much slower)

Reviews: Kansai railway pass lite (2026 new edition) 2-day/3-day pass (formerly Kansai thru pass)
Guest User2026-10-16
This ticket covers a wide area, from Himeji, Kobe, Nara, Wakayama, Osaka Umeda to Kyoto, allowing you to explore the entire Kansai region with just one ticket – extremely convenient. Except for JR lines, it can be used on all other private railways, making it more flexible for travel planning. You can take the Hanshin Railway to Kobe and Tarumi Outlet for shopping sprees, or take the Osaka Metro directly to the Hankyu Railway to Kyoto's Kawaramachi area. The Keihan Railway can take you to Kadoma Outlet and Hirakata Park, and you can even take the Osaka Monorail to Expo Memorial Park for Lalaport – truly a worthwhile investment. However, starting this year, the ticket usage has changed from a physical ticket to a QR code e-ticket on your mobile phone. Once activated, the ticket must be used consecutively, unlike the previous physical ticket which allowed for split-day use. This is somewhat limiting, and you must ensure your phone has sufficient battery power before traveling, otherwise, it won't work. Overall, if you need to travel to attractions/locations that are relatively far away, purchasing this ticket is definitely the first choice, and it's easy to get your money's worth. I would recommend it to friends and family who come to Kansai for tourism.

Reviews: JR PASS Kansai & Hiroshima Area Railway Pass 5-Day (electronic tickets require redemption)
Guest User2026-10-23
The best deal on this 7-day Kansai & Sanyo trip was this JR Kansai & Hiroshima Amazing Pass (5 days)! The original price was ¥36,350, but the pass was only ¥17,000 – a saving of over half! The best part is that it also comes with a Trip.com discount and a free Hiroshima Enjoyment Pass, making it an incredible bargain! The itinerary focused on one National Treasure/attraction per day (Kyoto Seiryo-ji and Tenryu-ji Temples → Himeji Castle and Engyo-ji Temples → Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Museum → Miyajima Michishio Itsukushima Shrine → Okayama Korakuen Garden), and with this pass, you could easily travel by Shinkansen and still experience the culture in depth – highly recommended!

Reviews: [Official Ticket] Kintetsu Rail Pass E-ticket: 1 Day, 2 Days, 5 Days, 5 Days Plus
Guest User2026-10-26
Purchasing the KINTETSU RAIL PASS through Trip.com was quick and easy. However, using multiple passes under a single account can be a bit inconvenient, as only one person can access the tickets and must scan the QR codes for each traveler when entering the station. The QR codes also refresh periodically, so a stable internet connection is important. If the connection is poor, the codes may not load properly. Additionally, scanning can sometimes be difficult when using a dark privacy screen protector. Overall, the pass is convenient, but the ticket access and QR code scanning experience could be improved, especially for group travelers.
