Honestly, it's really just so-so. Nearly 40 minutes of the two and a half hours are spent going through the locks, and the section of the canal is dark and there's nothing there. The scenery on the Qiantang River is pretty good for about half an hour, and you can see the Qianjiang New City light show, but you can see that from the City Balcony, which might be more impressive. In short, I don't recommend going on the ride; it's extremely boring.Trip.com picks
