Absolutely magical day! Very comfortable van. Loved the smaller group. Shelley was our driver and guide. Loved her experience and educating us along the way. Will never forget the experience. We absolutely loved our cruise with Mitre Peak! The boat was clean and we were very pleased when we got on board and saw how well maintained the chairs and tables were. Who needs a lunch buffet when all you really want to do is look at the beautiful views outside. We were so lucky to have had a partially sunny day, the falls were still flowing and we sa bottle nose dolphins, 1 cute as penguin and 3 fur seals. The commentary from the captain was great and informative.
Top tip take something to eat as there is no food for sale but there is free coffee, tea and hot chocolate. We took instant cup noodles and used the hot water that was available.★

This day tour was great for a few reasons.
So happy not to have driven this road ourselves in terms of finding parking up there and we were collected and dropped off at our accommodation
The tour guide Hary was very informative and knew where to stop to show us the most beautiful spots along the way, he also advised us on many other things to make the trip easy and comfortable. He gave us a lot of info about the environment
The short walks were great !! Which we would not have seen or done if driven ourselves
The cruise on the smaller boat was the best, not overcrowded and just absolutely beautiful
Overall , totally worth the money spent !

Our driver Sheil/Shale was the best. our group was on time and we had such sunny weather. Paying premium meant we got first dibs on the seats which helped a bit with my motion sickness. The views of the lanscape were spectacular and memorable and I got to spend quality time with my husband for our honeymoon. Definitely planning for another trip perhaps on our anniversary in the future and via helicopter.★

We enjoyed a coach ride through beautiful countryside on our way to Milford Sound. Our guide was knowledgeable and pointed out things of interest along our route stopping for overlooks and points of interest. When we got to Milford Sound we took a two hour boat cruise through the sound and had a nice hot buffet lunch. The waterfall on the cruise was a highlight! Prepare that you will be in the coach the majority of the trip but with the beautiful views it will feel like it goes quickly!★

Despite it being rainy and rough the day we went, it was an amazing experience and being a smaller boat with less people enhanced the experience and felt more personal. Highly recommend this more boutique operator.
