This trip was well worth every penny. Laurent was our guide for the day and he was knowledgeable, engaging and made us feel like he truly loved his job. Each stop was unique and gave you plenty of time to explore. My personal favorite was the medieval castle at the end of the tour. What a fantastic surprise! Laurent took us room to room, section to section and just let the knowledge flow. I was a little uneasy about booking as it says "all sales are final," but I thought it was well worth it and wouldn't have missed it! Definitely a must do as it is an efficient way to see some of the surrounding areas and you get to learn along the way.

All good. However: 1) the time allotted to see Colmar is short; it would be better to have two hours and 40 minutes instead of two hours, and for the third stop, one hour would have been enough instead of one hour and 40 minutes. 2) the price of 125 euros per person is a lot compared to other tours in other countries and other cities. (80 euros is more than enough for the tour, and it's without a guide, too.) The driver, Sebastien, is excellent, accommodating, and always available...

A unique approach to a cellar tour, it includes a tasting, professionally made video produced for the specific family winery and a Q&A with the owner/operator. We got to meet and socialize with the other people in our tour group who hailed from 4 different countries. Everyone had a great time. Nice to see a winery going the extra mile (kilometre?) to make a tasting/tour a little more unique.

Tarek was an absolutely amazing guide! Since It was just my husband and I so we got a very personalized experience. It was like being shown around town by a good friend. The food was delicious and filling. Tarek was very kind and happy to answer our many, many questions. Anything he didn’t know he was able to look up for us. We talked about everything from the history of the town, the food, and the differences between living in Strasbourg versus the US where we are from. I highly recommend this tour and hope you have as much fun as we did!


