Since learning about the travel pass, I've been making sure to get this for my Tokyo trips. This time around, I opted for the QR code, which was convenient to use as we didn't have to look for a machine to retrieve the physical pass. The only downside to this one would be there is usually only one turnstile with the QR scanner. And some stations, don't recognize the pass so you may have to go through the station booth beside it to pass through. I experienced this in Shibuya station. Other than that, it's convenient and saves you money especially if you're going to different locations in Tokyo.  If buying multiple passes, you can also share the pass to other users so they can use it directly on their phones.

Taking the Skylier from the airport to Ueno, Tokyo was very convenient and comfortable. I bought my ticket through Trip.com and exchanged it for a physical ticket at the airport counter, avoiding queues and saving a lot of time! I'll definitely take the Skylier again next time I'm in Tokyo.

Convenient, fast, and a one-stop journey to your destination without transferring trains or having to drag your luggage to different tracks. The bus is comfortable with scenic views along the way. After booking and paying online, you select the date and time from the link on the receipt. You'll receive a QR code; simply show the QR code to the station staff upon arrival, and they'll help you load your luggage onto the bus. It's excellent!

I ended up using it because it was the late-night flight from Haneda. You can board using only a QR code, and you can sit anywhere. It’s great that it gets you to Shinjuku in 40 minutes.
