Crowned as "The King of the Five Sacred Mountains", Mount Tai has been one of China's most famous mountain peaks since ancient times. A large and impressive rock mass covering 25,000 ha and rising to 1,545 m above the surrounding plateau, Mount Taishan is considered one of the most beautiful scenic spots in China and was an important cradle of oriental East Asian culture since the earliest times. The mountain was an important object of the cult worship of mountains even before 219 BCE, when the Qin Emperor paid tribute to the mountain to inform the gods of his success in unifying all of China. Watching the sunrise and catching the spectacular sea of clouds are common activities that visitors engage in. You are also encouraged to explore the ancient sites, engravings, and religious temples to understand the role of Mount Tai in China's long history.Tai'an · 30 km from Feicheng

Dai Temple

The Dai Temple is located at the southern foot of Mount Tai and in Tai'an City. It was first built in the Qin and Han Dynasties. It was the place where emperors of ancient dynasties worshipped the gods of Mount Tai and held sacrificial ceremonies. It is also a famous Taoist place. The Dai Temple has a large-scale architectural complex and is known as one of the four major ancient architectural complexes in China, along with the Forbidden City in Beijing, the Three Confucian Temples in Qufu, Shandong, and the Chengde Mountain Resort. Today, the majestic palaces are well preserved here, and you can enjoy the huge murals of the Song Dynasty and many ancient inscriptions. The entire Dai Temple was built in accordance with the palace city of ancient emperors. The high battlements and magnificent palaces show the style of ancient temples everywhere. Entering the Dai Temple from south to north, you can pass through the main buildings such as the Yaocan Pavilion, the Dai Temple Square, the Zhengyang Gate, the Peitian Gate, and the Ren'an Gate in turn, and then reach the Tianfu Hall. Among them, the tall Zhengyang Gate is the main entrance to the Dai Temple. In ancient times, only emperors could enter from this gate. Tianfu Hall is the core building of Dai Temple. It is the shrine of Emperor Dongyue. The God of Mount Tai (i.e. Emperor Dongyue) is enshrined in the hall. On the north, east and west walls of the hall are painted huge murals from the Song Dynasty, "Taishan Qiluan Huiluan Tu", which depicts the grand scene of the God of Mount Tai's tour. The people and horses in the painting are in various poses and the shapes are vivid and lifelike. This is the only painting of this theme in the country. You need to buy shoe covers at the door before entering Tianfu Hall, and you cannot take pictures of the murals. There are more than 300 steles and stone carvings from past dynasties in Dai Temple, so it is called "Dai Temple Stele Beilin " and a famous place to appreciate calligraphy. You can see the earliest existing stone carvings in China - the Qin Dynasty Li Si Xiaozhuan Stele. This stone carving is the edict issued by Qin II Hu Hai, and was carved by Prime Minister Li Si in Xiaozhuan font. It has a history of more than 2,200 years and is a precious treasure. There are also the representative works of Han Dynasty official script style "Zhang Qian Stele" and "Heng Fang Stele", one of the three great steles of Jin Dynasty, "Madam Sun" Stele, and the unique Tang Dynasty "Shuang Shu Stele" and other precious historical sites. In addition, the trees in the Dai Temple are lush and towering, and the environment is very beautiful. There are many precious ancient trees, especially the "Han Cypress" and "Tang Sophora japonica" that have experienced thousands of years of wind and rain, which are among the ancient trees and famous trees in the Dai Temple. There are five ancient cypresses in the Han Cypress Courtyard, which are said to have been planted by Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty when he was enfeoffed in the east. Although they are now peeled and withered, new branches continue to grow. There are also dozens of steles from past dynasties in the courtyard, and there are 26 steles made by Emperor Qianlong alone. There are also a copper pavilion and an iron tower on the east and west sides of the backyard of the Dai Temple, both of which are Ming Dynasty relics and were moved here from other places in Tai'an. Among them, the copper pavilion, also known as the "Golden Palace", was earlier placed in the Bixia Temple on the top of Mount Tai. The ancient craftsmen with superb skills assembled the pavilion in the form of imitation wood structure, which can be said to be ingenious. Guide services are available in the Attraction . If you are interested in ancient monuments, it is worth asking a Guide to Guide it here. In addition, there is a row of small shops selling Souvenir at the entrance of the Attraction . The shopkeepers can generally help look after ordinary luggage for a low fee. https://youimg1.tripcdn.com/target/100m0q000000gkjh32240_D_10000_1200.jpg?proc=autoorient " style="width: 100%;" title="">Tai'an · 32.6 km from Feicheng

The Jiunufeng Immersive Attraction is located in the Jiunufeng Rural Revitalization Demonstration Area, Daolang Town, Daiyue District, Tai'an City. The project is built on the mountain and beside the water. In accordance with the standards of the national AAAA-level tourist Attraction, it adheres to the concept of creating a new generation of cultural and tourism products with virtual and real symbiosis and immersive experience as the main focus. Through high-tech and digital empowerment, one step at a time, one step at a time, one poem, it strives to create a new scenic Attraction that integrates immersive performances, ecological landscapes, and boutique facilities. Focusing on the two major scenes of "cloud" and "moon", two spiritual and cultural buildings, the hometown cloud study and the hometown moon, have been built, and high-end wild luxury resort hotels, immersive performances, restaurants, cafes, Grand Canyons, camping sites, etc. have been built to transform the deep emotional value of "homesickness" into high-quality tourism products, create an operational scene that is worthy of observation, travel, and habitation, and achieve emotional resonance and interaction with tourists and villagers, forming a one-stop rural micro-vacation destination. The Attraction includes the Hometown Cloud High-end Wild Luxury Resort Hotel, Jiunvfeng Study, Maple Moon Boundless Camping and Leisure Area, "Hometown Moon" Art Space and Immersive Performances, Starry Sky Post Office, Grand Canyon and other projects. 1. Hometown Yungao High-end Luxury Resort Hotel The project utilized 21 abandoned courtyards of villagers and hired a well-known domestic design team to design them. With a light touch, it conveyed a meaningful experience, blended with the surrounding mountains and forests, and gave the living space a poetic aesthetic that blended with nature. It also has supporting facilities such as the Jiunvfeng study, cafe, restaurant, conference room, hot spring pool, and gym. The Hometown Yun High-end Wild Luxury Resort Hotel has now become an important window to showcase the charm of Shandong rural B&Bs. It has won many honorary titles such as the "3rd IAI International Tourism Award" and "Top 50 Most Influential B&Bs in China". The Jiunvfeng Bookstore has also been selected as the most beautiful bookstore of the year in Shandong Province. 2. Jiunvfeng Study The Jiunvfeng Study, located at the highest point of the Attraction, became a national Internet celebrity study within just two months after its completion. The unique architectural movement line echoes the undulating and silent mountains and the gurgling springs, like an endless cloud, with a kind of static flow. Compared with the magnificence and sublimity of Mount Tai, Dongximen Village is simple and restrained. The designer hopes to build "a floating cloud hovering between the mountains" here to respond to the magnificent sea of clouds of Mount Tai. 3. Maple Moon Boundless Camping and Recreation Area The name comes from the perfect combination of maple trees and the moon, implying beautiful scenery and a good life. The scenery highlights the integration of mountains, rivers and humanities, the reflection of ancient charm and modern style, small bridges and flowing water, lake light and moonlight, and provides rich experiences such as canopy camping, tea brewing around the stove, stage performances, and fog forest installations. The atmosphere here is relaxed and romantic, and the functional space is diverse. It will present different business formats such as tent camping, band performances, costume check-in, cultural and creative markets, and cute pet feeding. 4. “Hometown Moon” Art Space The project consists of three main parts: the moon, the cavity, and the gray space. It is located on the east side of "Hometown Cloud" and at the entrance of the Grand Canyon. The entire building is hidden under the road. The main structure of the building is cleverly combined with the cliffs on both sides. Only the hemispherical skylight on the roof is higher than the road. The reflection of the roof water surface turns the roof skylight into a full moon. After the designer's precise angle calculation, this full moon can only be seen completely on the terrace of the study room of "Hometown Cloud". The perspective of appreciating the full moon also symbolizes the unique attachment of wanderers from all over the world to their hometown in their hearts, and now a beautiful picture of clouds and moons has been formed. 5. “The Moon of Hometown” Immersive Performance The immersive performance of "The Moon of Hometown" combines the unique half-moon feature of the "Moon of Hometown" art space. The scene is equipped with a 360-degree circular screen, with the main stage gauze curtain and ground projection, combining the imaginary drama space with the real reality space. It is a comprehensive performance integrating digital interpretation, stage lighting and drama performance. This new digital interpretation show uses the moon as the source of inspiration and emotion as the spiritual bond, connecting the common emotions and nostalgia of all mankind, showing the poetic and picturesque oriental aesthetics, allowing the audience to immerse and feel it. The performance is divided into four content chapters: "Moonlight", "Moon Color", "Moon Thoughts" and "Moon Viewing", spanning the journey from ancient times to the present, from Chang'e, Li Bai to astronauts, through different interpretations of the moon, showing the multiple charms of the moon. 6. Grand Canyon The canyon was formed in the ancient times, with a history of hundreds of millions of years. It is shaped like a swimming dragon, running from north to south, about 1,314 meters long and about 160 meters deep. The "Divine Dragon Trilogy" consists of "Yulong Bay", "Chenglong Cave" and "Tenglong Valley", representing the three stages of the dragon's birth, tempering and becoming a dragon, and achieving blessings. The two sides of the canyon are steep and rugged, with mountains and peaks, strange rocks everywhere, and many pools and waterfalls. The scenery is everywhere and changes with every step. It is a good place for leisure, vacation, hiking and entertainment. 7. Starry Sky Post Office The Starry Sky Post Office is located between the "clouds and the moon" in the Attraction, like a star, hence the name. The post office has a starry sky cafe, a hometown letter check-in area, and a canopy camping area. The Souvenir is arranged in a natural and simple country garden style. Visitors can choose to fill in the trouble mailbox and confession mailbox with postcards, or choose to send a letter to their future self.Tai'an · 15.2 km from Feicheng

Baotu Spring is located in the bustling downtown area of Jinan, bordered by Qianfo Mountain to the south, Daming Lake attraction to the north, and connected to Quancheng Square to the east. This spring-themed garden is renowned as the "No. 1 spring under heaven" and ranks first among Jinan's "72 famous springs," with a history spanning over 2,000 years. It has also frequently appeared in literary works, most notably in Lao She's "Baotu Spring." Visitors come here to witness the spectacular sight of the three gushing springs. The main spring serves as the park's centerpiece, with its crystal-clear water gushing in three separate jets day and night, reaching several feet high during peak flow. The spring is surrounded by large stone masonry and guardrails, allowing visitors to overlook the spectacular sight of the three jets from the railings. A dark green stone tablet inscribed with "No. 1 spring" stands nearby, bearing the calligraphy of Licheng's Wang Zhonglin from the Tongzhi era of the Qing Dynasty. In the vicinity, over thirty other famous springs are scattered, including Jinxian Spring, Shuyu Spring, Xibo Spring, Liuxu Spring, Huanghua Spring, Dukang Spring, and Bailong Spring. July and August, when local rainfall is abundant, make for the best season to observe these springs. In the height of summer, visitors can get up close with the springs in the park. Some springs have no railings around them, with stone paths in the pools where water flows over. Visitors can step into the pools to interact with the water, walking on the stone paths where their feet will get wet from the cool spring water. Besides water interaction, there are free drinking springs available for visitors by the pools. On the east side of the springs stands the Wangheting teahouse, specially catering to visitors. This springFragrant tea brewed with water at a moderate price. In addition to the springs, another highlight of the park is its magnificent south gate, adorned with grandeur and elegance. The horizontal plaque above the gate, inscribed with "Baotu Spring" in golden characters on a blue background, bears the imperial handwriting of Emperor Qianlong from the Qing Dynasty. It is acclaimed as the "first gate" of Chinese classical gardens. In previous years, seasonal water stoppages frequently occurred here, but through recent conservation efforts, normal water levels have been largely restored. Additionally, the attraction regularly hosts various cultural events. Every year on the first day of the lunar new year, a lantern festival is held for 20 days. In late September, there's a spring water culture festival lasting about 10 days, featuring folk activities, calligraphy and painting exhibitions, and traditional opera performances for visitors to enjoy. From late October to late November, a chrysanthemum exhibition takes place where the golden fall scenery of gushing springs and blooming chrysanthemums creates a spectacular sight well worth seeing. In addition, the attraction has launched a cruise route. After visiting the attraction, interested visitors can board the cruise at the dock, passing through the west gate bridge in Jinan's old town, the east gate of Wulongtan Park, and entering Wulongtan Lock, Jinan's first passenger ship lock in history, where they can experience a drop of over 2 m. Sitting on the east side of the boat, visitors can also see the relief of "Jinan's eight scenic views". The riverbanks along the route are lined with aquatic plants, and the water is crystal clear. The cruise finally passes through Yanbo Bridge and enters the Daming Lake attraction.Jinan · 57.6 km from Feicheng

Super easy to climb! It's great for both experienced hikers and those with less stamina. My parents took the cable car and bus, while I took the bus and climbed. Everyone was happy! The only downside is that going too early can result in fog. If it's not a holiday, don't go too early; consider going after 9:00 AM. Once you're on the mountain, the fog will start to dissipate after 12:00 PM.

Having just climbed Mount Tai, I still had some time, so I strolled around the Dai Temple with a guide, walking from the South Gate to the North Gate. It felt very fulfilling. I was surprised to learn that so many emperors had visited; it's a city steeped in history and culture. Overall, a good experience. Our guide, Xia, was enthusiastic and friendly. Excellent!

Worth a visit. It wasn't crowded during the holiday, and the giant animal festival decorations were quite beautiful. The interactive activities to earn silver tickets were a hit with the kids. The "Flying Over Mount Tai" was quite thrilling, the rafting was fun, and the horse battle performance is highly recommended. However, the silver ticket redemption at the end wasn't quite worth it.

Lingyan Temple is located in Wandezhen, Changqing District, Jinan, at the northwest foot of Mount Tai, about an hour's drive from downtown Jinan. It can be visited along the way to Mount Tai. Founded in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, the ancient temple has a history of 1,600 years and is considered one of the four most famous temples in China, enjoying great popularity during the Tang and Song Dynasties. Highlights include: the Song Dynasty Arhat sculptures in the Thousand Buddha Hall, considered the finest examples of their kind in China, with lifelike expressions; the ancient and grand nine-story Pizhi Pagoda; a large forest of pagodas containing over a hundred stone pagodas from various dynasties; and a tranquil environment with clear mountain springs and ancient cypress trees, where historical sites blend seamlessly with the natural landscape. A visit is highly recommended for those who appreciate historical temples.

A perfect remedy for a tiring hike, five stars! 🚠 Choosing the Taishan cable car for the descent was a wise decision! The cabin ride was smooth, and through the glass windows, the panoramic views of the mountains, peaks, and pine trees were breathtaking. The ride gently relieved the fatigue of the climb, and the aerial perspective of Taishan offered a completely different experience, perfect for taking photos. It conserved energy, allowed for stunning mountain and river views, and was a fantastic experience – definitely worth it when visiting Taishan!

Family! The immersive scenic spot of Jiunvfeng in Tai'an is amazing! One step at a time, a scene, like walking in a painting. The study room of Jiunvfeng has a great sense of design, like a cloud floating in the mountains. The performance of "The Moon of Hometown" is super shocking, and it brings the homesickness to life. Absolutely stunning! The spring water is crystal clear, gurgling gently. It's chrysanthemum season now, and the chrysanthemums in the park are meticulously arranged by gardeners, shimmering with light. The park staff work very hard to maintain cleanliness. It's heartbreaking to see visitors spitting, smoking, feeding the fish with their own food, and carelessly littering. I suggest the park staff clean up naturally fallen leaves, and there should be penalties for those who create litter!

Daming Lake holds the story of Emperor Qianlong and Xia Yuhe's "epic, tragic love" 😂 "Your Majesty, do you still remember Xia Yuhe by Daming Lake?"—When Emperor Qianlong toured the south, he encountered Xia Yuhe playing the zither in the Yuhe Hall, fell in love at first sight, wrote a poem and presented her with a fan, vowing that "a true friend is hard to find." However, after more than a decade apart, Yuhe fell ill with longing and died with her zither in her arms 😢 However, there is no historical record of this person; it's purely a romantic fiction by Qiong Yao. The lake shimmers, lotus flowers fill the pond, and the saying "lotuses on all four sides, willows on three" is truly fitting. The illuminated Chaoran Tower is even more breathtaking.
