Hoan Kiem Lake
Hoan Kiem Lake was originally called Green Water Lake, and was later renamed after the legend that the Vietnamese monarch Le Loi received and returned a sword here. The lake is long and narrow from north to south, and the loop around the lake is less than 2 km, which can be walked in about half an hour. The lakeside path is shaded by trees and is a daily spot for Hanoi locals to cool off and exercise. Upon boarding, there are welcome drinks, a panoramic restaurant, a rooftop pool, and a DJ sunset party, creating a lively atmosphere. Lunch is a buffet with a variety of seafood, Vietnamese cuisine, and Western hot dishes. The itinerary includes a cruise through the karst archipelago, a visit to the Amazing Cave to see stalactites, kayaking (bamboo rafting) at Luon Cave, and a hike up Ti Top (Titof Island) for panoramic views of the bay.

Was a really good show, learning the history of Vietnam through puppets and music. Was a great experience and would recommend this to anyone going Hanoi. Only downside is that not everything is translated. The story is translated via the earpiece but the dialogue within the show isn't which is a shame as it is difficult to understand what was happening at times but overall still recommended to visit.

It's incredibly good value for money! The roller coaster, pirate ship, and log flume rides are all thrilling, and the price is amazing. It's a shame the park is permanently closing on August 16th.
The cable car across the sea is a must-do; it's really fun. And the Ferris wheel at sunset is breathtaking. Definitely worth a try.

The Hoan Kiem lake in Hanoi is one of the most visited central attractions of the city. The atmosphere is leisurely and relaxing, which makes it an easy-going place to enjoy a nighttime or a daytime stroll, while taking pictures and taking in the views of the streets around, where there are many shops, cafes and restaurants as well as street eateries.

We happened to arrive on a luxury sightseeing cruise ship that was undergoing maintenance and upgrades! The staff were incredibly friendly! Lunch was fantastic! Although the day was a bit short, it was truly fulfilling and enjoyable.
